Glove size is often misunderstood—bigger isn’t always better. In fact, a smaller glove gives young players more control, helping them position their body and glove properly to catch and secure the ball. Oversized gloves can feel awkward and be distracting, especially if the player struggles to close it properly.
Fit and comfort are key. If a glove feels like it might slip off or can’t be easily closed, it’s not the right size. That’s why Wilson designs youth gloves with smaller hand openings and game-ready materials, reducing break-in time and offering a snug, secure fit.
A properly fitting glove not only improves performance but also boosts confidence and enjoyment on the field, making it easier for players to develop their skills and love for the game.
