Varying in size, feel, and web style, Baseball Training Gloves are meant to help a player hone their baseball skills in either fielding, catching, throwing, receiving, hand-eye coordination, or transition skills. Larger and with more open pockets, baseball training gloves are easier to catch a baseball in, allowing for the freedom to focus on movement and other skills. While the pockets of the baseball training gloves are not deep enough to fill out certain specific fielding roles within the baseball diamond, their worth lies in helping players improve their skills. Here at Baseball360, we offer only the best and highest quality baseball training gloves available.

          About Our Baseball Training Glove

Why Use a Baseball Training Glove?

Some baseball gloves, depending on the shape or style, may force a player to change the way he or she fields completely. With baseball training gloves, you can practice proper movement and throwing skills, among any other skill you wish to practice, due to their more open designs. Generally, baseball training gloves are more round. This makes the ball easier to catch so a player can focus on more specific skills without having to worry too much about actually making the catch. Another advantage is that since the catch is made, the player can increase the amount of training reps they can put in during the day, alongside helping to reinforce clean transfer skills between fielders.

It also allows for coaches to better aid their baseball players in practice. For example, if a coach bats a ground ball towards a player with a training glove, they can tell based on the shape of the glove from their point of view if the hand and mitt is properly placed. Due to its large circular nature, if the coach can see the full circle of the training glove, then they can determine that the player is in the right position. Oblong or non-circular training glove shapes can tell the coach if the baseball player is not in the correct position. This kind of instant feedback can allow for coaches to better conduct and modify their drills and their player’s skills on the baseball field.
